The Roman governor Pontius Pilate knew Jesus was innocent and that he had the power to set Jesus free. He sent him to death. Why? The crowd had the opportunity to have Jesus released and instead they asked to have a murderer set free. Why? Jesus stood silently as this miscarriage of justice unfolded. Why? There are powerful and important answers to these questions that are surprisingly relevant to our 21st Century lives.
