What do I wear?

Whatever you like; dress is casual. Please note that we have no air conditioning, so summers are warm.

Where do I go when I get there?

Enter through the glass doors from the circle driveway on Rosemary.  The coat room is on the right up the stairs.  A greeter will welcome you and an usher will give you a bulletin with that week’s service information. Take a seat anywhere you like.

How many other people will be there?

We average 130 people at each service.

What do my children do?

We welcome families and children of all ages to worship with us.  If you have infants or toddlers, you are welcome to either let them stay in the service or take them to the nursery, which is located on the main level down the hallway outside the Lounge.  Sunday School is held in the basement and is available for children ages 2 years old through 5th grade.  Sunday School children are invited to join their parents in worship and will be dismissed to their classrooms following the Children's Message.  Children's bulletins and crayons are available from the ushers.

What is worship like?

Our services are a blend of traditional and modern styles. On any given week, you might sing a hymn you remember from childhood, pray a prayer from an ancient spiritual tradition, hear the bell chimes choir perform, or even see a dramatic performance.

Do you have communion?

Communion is served the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to eat at God’s table. We receive by intinction—a server will give you a piece of bread that you then will dip into a cup of grape juice.

Do you take attendance?

During the offering portion of the service, a red pad will be passed down each pew  — take a moment to write down your name and address so we can get to know you better.

I’ve been once or twice and want to get involved; how do I learn more?

Our website contains information on service opportunities, small groups and other ways to get involved. You can fill out the visitor card on the tear-off portion of your bulletin and place it in the offering plate.  For more information, pick up a Welcome Packet on the table just outside the sanctuary.  Church leaders will be happy to speak to you in person or by e-mail about ways to connect.
