Fellowship
Our church places a high priority on hospitality toward newcomers and helping them gain a sense of fellowship in our church. We have several fellowship groups that gather in a spirit of faith, fun, and friendship.
Baby Boomers
Baby Boomers is an adult group that provides an evening of fellowship and fun (without the children) once a month. We do things such as progressive dinners, road rallies, bowling, game night, a New Year’s Eve party, and much more. All are invited to any function. There is a schedule of the year’s events posted in the church hallway and signup sheets for each month’s event go up about 2 weeks before the event. Contact: Linda Floren ()
Young and Youngish Adults
Our newest group started meeting in the last year and we've done some great things like a beach party on the lake, Ravinia Night, and a Memorial Day family picnic. People who consider themselves old Generation Xers and young Baby Boomers are a part of this group. Contact: Lisa Burns ()
Book Circle
The Book Circle is attended by book lovers who enjoy a good discussion. Members recommend books from which a selection is made for the year. All members read the month's choice and are free to comment. Meetings are held in member's homes or at the church on the first Thursday morning of the month. Jane Hanes is chair for the present year. Mary Ruth Circle
Mary Ruth Circle is open to all women of our church and provides a wide range of opportunities for service, fellowship and fun. Typically meeting one evening a month, our agenda varies and has included service projects, benefiting both our church and the surrounding community; lively, creative presentations on a variety of topics; and warm fellowship in members’ homes or at area restaurants. Our Christmas Cookie and Ornament Exchange is an annual favorite. Contact: Sandy Ridgway ()
